Allan Oxman is President and founder of Granite State Forestry Services Inc.  He has been practicing forestry in New Hampshire and Massachusetts since 1976, the same year he received a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire.  He established Granite State Forestry Services in 1983.  He and his wife Susan of 40 years have been residing in southern, New Hampshire since 1976 where they raised their two boys.  He has been active in his town and community where he served as Selectmen for 6 years and has been the Town Forester since 1994.

Throughout his career he has also been active in forestry on the state level.  He was a member of the board responsible for establishing New Hampshire forestry licensure in 1991.  He has volunteered as a Tree Farm Inspector for the National Tree Farm Association since the early 1980’s, as well as being a 35 year member of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire’s Forests, and long-time member and supporter of the New Hampshire Timberland Owner’s Association.

He actively works with private landowners, organizations, municipalities, schools, and companies in the management of their woodland.  Some of the services he provides are timber appraisals, timber sale administration, boundary location, forest mapping and management plans, Current Use Property Tax Plans, and soil mapping to name a few.  His management not only involves timber production, but also integrates wildlife habitat, soil and water integrity, recreational uses, and aesthetics. He usually has his 14 ½ year old yellow lab Tucker by his side, however Tucker is close to retiring.

Eric Oxman is Vice-President of Granite State Forestry Services Inc.  He is a Licensed Forester and has been a part of this consulting forestry firm since 2009.  Eric graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Conservation and a Minor in Forestry.

Eric volunteers as a Tree Farm Inspector for the National Tree Farm Association and is a member of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire’s Forests, and the New Hampshire Timberland Owner’s Association.  He provides complete forest management services to our clients including timber sale administration & supervision, management plans, boundary line identification & maintenance, marketing of forest products, and timber appraisals.

Eric was born and raised in southern New Hampshire where he loved to be in the woods and still does.  After college, Eric spent some time skiing out west but realized that the best place for him to raise his family was in New Hampshire, which is where he and his wife and two year old son happily reside.
